الإتحاد الأوروبي يغري ترامب لتجنب الرسوم الجمركية
يقترح الإتحاد الأوروبي على الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، صفقة سيتم بموجبها خفض رسوم استيراد السيارات، مقابل إعفاء صادرات الإتحاد من الألومنيوم والصلب من الرسوم الجمركية الأمريكية. بحسب ما ذكرته صحيفة "وول ستريت جورنال".
ونقلت الصحيفة الأمريكية الخميس 19 أبريل، عن مصادر في الإتحاد الأوروبي، أن التسوية التي تقترحها بروكسل ستلبي، مطالب ترامب الأساسية والقاضية بخفض الإتحاد رسومه الجمركية على السيارات وقطع الغيار والمعدات الصناعية الأمريكية. مضيفة أنه يتوجب على الولايات المتحدة مقابل ذلك، إعفاء الألومنيوم والصلب الأوروبي من الرسوم الجمركية، إضافة لذلك تطالب بروكسل واشنطن السماح للشركات الأوروبية في المشاركة بالمناقصات الحكومية الأمريكية.
وتابعت "وول ستريت جورنال" أن الصفقة تتضمن تعهدات بوقوف الإتحاد الأوروبي إلى جانب الولايات المتحدة في معركته ضد الصين بمنظمة التجارة العالمية.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، قد أقر في مارس الماضي، فرض رسوم جمركية على واردات الولايات المتحدة من الصلب الأوروبي بنسبة 25%، ومن الألمنيوم بنسبة 10%، مشيرا إلى أن هذا القرار يرمي إلى حماية الأمن الوطني لبلاده.
