الرئيس البرازيلي الأسبق لولا يسلم نفسه للشرطة
قام الرئيس البرازيلي الأسبق لويس إيناسيو لولا دا سيلفا بتسليم نفسه للشرطة ليلة السبت، بعدما غادر مقر نقابة عمال المعادن في ساو برناردو دو كامبو، ليبدأ تنفيذ عقوبة بالسجن لأكثر من 12 عاما بتهمة الفساد.
وقد وصل رمز اليسار البرازيلي والمرشح الأوفر حظا في الانتخابات الرئاسية التي ستجرى في أكتوبر، إلى سجن كوريتيبا على متن مروحية.
وأدين لولا بتلقى رشا شملت قيام شركة هندسية بتجديد منزل مطل على البحر ومؤلف من ثلاثة طوابق قال إنه لا يملكه أصلا، وذلك مقابل المساعدة في ترسية عقود أشغال عامة عليها.
